Thomas Nally
President
TD Ameritrade Institutional


Tom Nally is responsible for all business functions at TD Ameritrade Institutional, the Company’s business unit supporting independent registered investment advisors (RIAs). In this role, he oversees the independent RIA segment, as well as the corporate services business. He also serves as a member of the Company’s senior operating committee (SOC), which shapes the strategic focus of the organization.

Nally, who has been with the Company since 1994, most recently had responsibility for TD Ameritrade Institutional Sales. Through a consultative approach, Nally and his team developed new advisor relationships and delivered a value added practice management solution to assist RIAs in achieving their strategic business objectives.

Over his tenure, he has held multiple management positions in various key segments of the business, including responsibility for trading, fixed income, advisor relations, client service, advisor technology, account services and operations for more than 4,000 independent RIAs who custody assets with TD Ameritrade Institutional. Nally graduated from Rider University with a degree in Finance and completed the Securities Industry Institute program, sponsored by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, at the Wharton School of Business. He currently holds Series 7, 8, 24 and 63 licenses.

Peter Dorsey
Managing Director, Institutional Sales
TD Ameritrade Institutional


Peter Dorsey oversees all institutional sales functions including advisor recruitment, practice management consulting, relationship management and sales strategy for TD Ameritrade Institutional.

Dorsey previously served as director of sales responsible for the oversight and management of TD Ameritrade Institutional's business development activities within the western region of the United States. He has been working in the institutional field, specifically with independent registered investment advisors, for nearly 15 years. Prior to joining TD Ameritrade in 2005, Dorsey served in similar roles in the banking and brokerage industries.

Dorsey received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from St. Anselm College and a Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management. He holds Series 7, 63 and 24 securities licenses.

Skip Schweiss
President
TD Ameritrade Trust Company


Skip Schweiss is the Managing Director of Corporate Services, including Self-Directed Brokerage Accounts (SDBA), and Designated Brokerage Services (DBS). Schweiss is also responsible for all TD Ameritrade Trust Company (TDATC) functions, including retirement solutions and services for independent registered investment advisors and third-party administrators using TD Ameritrade's trust platform.

Prior to this appointment, Schweiss held a variety of management positions within Fiserv Investment Support Services, including serving as Executive Vice President of Fiserv Trust Company, which was acquired by TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation in February, 2008.

Schweiss holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of South Dakota and a M.S. in finance from the University of Colorado. He is completing the Securities Industry Institute sponsored by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) at the Wharton School of Business. He is currently Series 7 and Series 24 licensed, and is a member of both the National Association of Active Investment Managers and the Financial Planning Association.

Zohar Swaine
Managing Director, Institutional Strategy and Product Organization
TD Ameritrade Institutional


Zohar Swaine is responsible for leading the development of strategies, new product introductions, and the creation of value-added solutions with over 4,000 independent Registered Independent Advisors on the TD Ameritrade Institutional platform.

Prior to joining the company in 2007, Swaine held various positions at JP Morgan and First Manhattan Consulting Group. His experience spans retail banking, lending, card, brokerage, and securities services. His functional practice areas include corporate strategy, performance measurement and management, product management, and risk.

Swaine holds degrees in Finance and International Business as an honor’s graduate from NYU’s Stern School of Business. He is also completing the Securities Industry Institute sponsored by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) at the Wharton School of Business and is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). He is currently Series 7, 24 and 66 licensed.

John V. Tovar
Managing Director, Institutional Brokerage Services
TD Ameritrade Institutional


John Tovar oversees Institutional Brokerage Services, which includes trading, fixed income sales, relationship management, customer services, technology, account services and operations for the over 4,000 Independent Registered Investment Advisors that custody assets at TD Ameritrade Institutional.

Tovar joined the Company in 1992, and most recently was responsible for trading and fixed income for the Institutional business. Tovar has held a variety of roles over his 16-year tenure, including key management positions in Retail Brokerage Services at Jack White & Company and National Retail Services at TD Waterhouse and ultimately in TD Waterhouse Institutional in 2000.

Tovar is based in Fort Worth, Texas and is currently Series 4, 7, 8, 24, 53, 63 and 65 licensed. He is also completing the Securities Industry and Financial Markets (SIFMA) Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School of Business.

Paul Zettl
Managing Director, Institutional Marketing and Corporate Events
TD Ameritrade Institutional


Paul Zettl is the Managing Director of Institutional Marketing and Corporate Events for TD Ameritrade which includes the advisor and corporate services businesses. He is responsible for marketing strategy and program development initiatives to help increase awareness, deepen client relationships and improve the client experience. Zettl joined TD Ameritrade in 2008.

Prior to joining TD Ameritrade, Zettl spent 10 years at Fidelity Investments in Boston, MA. Zettl held various senior marketing roles within Fidelity’s Institutional businesses including the RIA and clearing units where he was responsible for business strategy and planning, as well as product marketing and communications.

Zettl developed integrated direct marketing experience by working at a direct marketing agency in Boston, called Bronner Slosberg Humphrey (now known as Digitas) and by leading the direct marketing services group at the Unisys Corporation in Rochester, New York.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the State University of New York College at Cortland. Zettl also studied at the Schiller International University in Heidelberg, Germany. In 2009, Zettl completed the Securities Industry Institute sponsored by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) at the Wharton School of Business. He holds the Series 7 Securities License.
